
After 26 years, today was Dave Farley's last day as custodian at the JH campus. Thank you Dave for all the messes you have cleaned up, all the snow you have moved, and the help you have given everyone over the years. You will be missed.

The 2023-24 school year came to a close today and the bus drivers got in one last evacuation drill.





4th grade worked hard on using their science, math, engineering, and art skills to make a cardboard arcade. Junior High students got to come down and test the new games out.

JH students made candy, cookies, and muffins to be delivered to community groups later this week as part of their community service projects.

Members of the JH track team participated in the State JH Track Meet last weekend. These four won the 4x200 and finished 2nd in the Sprint Medley Relay.

The Guthrie Center School Board is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Brian Sauser as the new 9-12 Principal for AC/GC High School.


Thank you Trooper Shelby McGreedy for taking the time to talk to the JH students about being safe online and the dangers of texting and driving.



The JH Student Council sponsored an 8th-grade formal dance Friday night.

AC/GC junior high students spent part of the morning at the Guthrie County Fairgrounds pulling weeds, painting, and trimming bushes as part of the junior high's community service month.






JH students performed some work around the school this morning as part of the school's community service project. Over the next three weeks, students will be going to Adair, Casey, and Guthrie Center to help with cleaning projects.
