School Safety Improvements

We are committed to enhancing school safety by utilizing the Governor's School Safety Grants to upgrade various security measures across our schools. Currently, we are finalizing the installation of door control systems, allowing us to regulate and restrict access to our buildings. Additional security cameras have been added to previously uncovered areas, ensuring comprehensive surveillance. A new phone system has been installed at Guthrie Center Elementary and ACGC High School, improving communication throughout our facilities. Over spring break we will be upgrading our door hardware at AC Elementary and ACGC Junior High, enabling classrooms to be locked from the inside for added security.

These improvements will help us provide a safe and secure environment for our students and staff.
